What does 48 hour turnaround mean? Will my
order be at my door 48 hours after I send the files?
All aqueous cardstock jobs (art and payment) received before 6pm Eastern will be
ready to ship 48 hours (2 business days) later. For example, if we receive
your art and payment at 5pm on Tuesday, your order will be ready to ship
at 6pm on Thursday. *Please keep in mind that our turnaround is purely an estimate and not to be misconstrued as a guarantee. What shipping options
do I have?
We primarily ship with UPS
and Delta Air Cargo.
However, we can also ship FedEx, Greyhound,
and US Postal Service. Contact
us and we'll work with you to get your order to you in a cost effective
and timely manner.
What payment options are available?
Due to our quick turnaround, all orders must be prepaid. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you would like to pay with a check or money order,
please overnight the check to
us and fax us a copy of the check and the tracking number of the overnight
package.
Can MarsFlyers.com design my work too?
Of course! Our design services pages have samples
of our design. Log In and choose "I
want you to Design and Print My Job".
Why are your prices so low?
Because we are a "gang run" style print company, we are able
to offer lower prices than our competition. We print the day's orders
on a 20"x26" or 28"x40" sheet and cut the jobs apart
in order to reduce the costs of making plates and other fixed setup charges.
Does your job need special attention? No problem! We can do extras such
as perforations, folding, scoring, binding, die-cutting, and more!
What do you print?
Some of our clients use our printing services for: Promotional Brochures,
Event Flyers, Restaurant Menus, Realtor Postcards, Tickets, Handbills,
Clothing Tags, Business Cards, Posters, Point of Sale Signage, Photo Reproduction,
Zed Cards, Instruction Booklets, Monthly Periodicals, Tri-Folds, Record
Flats, and More!
How can I send you a print job?
You can use our online system to upload
your work immediately! If you are unsure of how to use our online system,
you can call us and a sales rep will
help you get started!
Can you print jobs that are different sizes than
you have listed?
Yes we can! Choose the next size larger than your art when ordering. For
custom orders, please Login and fill out
our estimate form and we'll get back to you with a custom price.
How do I order multiple items?
Place a separate order for each piece you want printed. For example, if
you want 2 different postcards, then place 2 separate orders. The price
for 5,000 of one postcard is not the same as the price for 2,500 each
of 2 different brochures.
What kind of paper do you use?
All flyers, postcards, and business cards are printed on 12 point card
stock with an aqueous coating. Brochures and Posters are printed on either
80# or 100# text weight paper.
How long will it take to get my order delivered
to me?
Your order will ship 2 business days after it is submitted and paid for.
UPS Ground shipping takes from 1 to 6 business days depending on your
distance from our production facility in Florida. Delta typically arrives
at your airport within 24 hours (weekends included). Delta has
recently cut flights, so you may want to check their
site for flights from TPA to your airport.
Can I my order be delivered quicker?
Yes! Choose a quicker UPS shipping method while ordering. If you choose
Delta Overnight, it will be shipped
to your nearest airport.
What file formats can you take?
We accept any Mac or PC rasterized file format. This includes tiffs, jpegs,
flattened psds, flattened pdfs, and eps. If you are going to send an eps,
please convert all fonts to curves or outlines. We do not accept
Corel Draw, Microsoft Publisher, Quark Express files. For further explanation
please check out our Art Submission Page.
What types of media do you accept?
We prefer you to upload your order through the online ordering system,
or via ftp or email. But we will accept a Mac or PC CD. We do not accept
zip disks.
Is there an extra charge for bleeds?
No. Unlike many other companies, all our prices include full bleeds free
of charge. The bleeds should be 1/8" all around.
How do I place an order and have my graphic designer
upload my files separately?
During the ordering process, type "upload later" or "email"
in one of the boxes for the files. Then have your graphic designer upload
the art here. You will need your Order ID.
How long will it take to upload my files?
Uploading may take a very long time depending on your connection speed.
You can check the bottom of your browser for a status bar.
Should I do anything special if I'm on AOL?
If you use America Online, you should be aware that AOL can limit your
inactivity on the web and disconnect you if you are not a current, active
user. Uploading files appears to be inactivity to AOL. It is recommended
that you keep your AOL email account open at the same time you are uploading
your files. This can trick AOL programming into thinking you are still
active on the Internet, thereby preventing the possibility of getting
disconnected during your file upload.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
You can reset it and have a new one
mailed to you. Unfortunately, we are unable to lookup your current
password.
What is the difference between Aqueous coating
and UV coating?
Aqueous coating is a water based coating and UV is oil based.
UV coating takes longer to dry but has
a much higher gloss than Aqueous. The
post office will not accept UV coated postcards because you can not
print or write on UV coating. UV looks similar to a laminated product and
is popular amongst club flyers and corporate presentation pieces. We cannot
turn UV print jobs in less than 48 hours due to the fact that it takes
longer to dry. |
